Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

Overview: Cheats GTA V is an offline-first companion application. We do not require accounts and do not collect names or phone numbers; an email address is collected only if you volunteer it to receive a reply to feedback or customer support requests. We do not sell your personal data. All app network communication is encrypted in transit. This policy details our data practices in full compliance with the Google Play Developer Policy, Google AdMob, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA.

1. About the Application and Data Controller

Cheats GTA V ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is developed and published by Greenlit. The App provides an interactive cheat code reference and companion tool for Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

For any privacy inquiries, data subject rights, or questions regarding this Privacy Policy, our designated Data Protection contact is: apps@greenlit.nl.

2. Information Collection and Account Deletion

A. Information You Directly Provide (No Accounts Required)

No Account Creation: You do not need to register, create an account, or log in to use the App. All cheat bookmarks, favorites, training records, and custom visual preferences are stored locally on your device via Android private app storage. We do not maintain any user database or server accounts.

Account Deletion Notice: Because Cheats GTA V does not support or require user account registration, there is no online account or credential profile to delete. Users can completely delete all locally stored preferences and cached app data at any time by clearing the App's storage via Android Settings (Settings → Apps → Cheats GTA V → Clear Storage) or by uninstalling the App.

In-App Feedback & Contact Support Submissions: If you voluntarily submit feedback, report a bug, or contact support through our in-app bottom sheets, we transmit your message, contact email address (optional for feedback, mandatory for support replies), category selection, app version, device model, device manufacturer, operating system version, and an anonymous per-install identifier via Web3Forms directly to our customer support inbox. Submissions are transmitted securely via TLS encryption and are not stored in a public-facing database. We use this information solely to respond to support inquiries, triage technical defects, and improve application quality.

Direct Email Support: You may also contact us directly for technical assistance at apps@greenlit.nl. We only use your email address and message contents to answer your query.

B. Information Collected Automatically by Integrated Third-Party SDKs

To keep core cheat features free, monitor app health, and facilitate optional digital purchases, the App integrates vetted third-party software development kits (SDKs). These SDKs automatically collect and process technical identifiers:

5. User Rights and Opt-Out Controls

You maintain full control over your advertising identifiers and privacy settings:

A. Managing Consent Within the App

Users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland can change, customize, or revoke ad consent preferences at any time:
Open the App → Navigate to Settings → Tap Ad consent (available in regions where consent choices are required by applicable regulations).

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are entitled to the full range of data subject rights under Articles 15 through 22 of the GDPR:

6. Data Security & Encryption in Transit

Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the App and third-party endpoints (Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics, RevenueCat, Web3Forms) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS) protocols.

Local Storage Security: App preferences and offline database records are isolated within the Android application sandbox and protected by Android OS security boundaries.

Data Retention: User-submitted feedback and customer support inquiries transmitted via Web3Forms are received directly into Greenlit's customer support email inbox and retained only as long as necessary to answer questions, resolve technical issues, or track feature requests. We do not store feedback in a remote database. Third-party advertising and crash telemetry are retained by Google and RevenueCat according to standard aggregated retention schedules (typically 90 to 365 days).

7. International Data Transfers

Our third-party partners (Google LLC, RevenueCat Inc.) operate cloud infrastructure in the United States and globally. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland, these service providers utilize approved Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and contractual safeguards to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Google Families Policy)

Cheats GTA V is intended strictly for general audiences aged 13 and older (or 16 where required by local law). The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please notify us immediately at apps@greenlit.nl, and we will promptly take steps to delete any such data.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates, technical changes, or legal requirements. Material updates will be reflected with a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
